~ Wanna Be a Spider or a Fly? ~

Spider, spider

on the wall
brown and hairy
small and scary

Eight quick legs
two pinchers'
weave a web
stick quick home

Flitting fly
mesmerized
lands to climb
cannot move
cries and cries

Wanna be
a spider
or a fly

Expedient
choices
live or die

The Gift of Simplicity

As a writer, photographer and mail artist, my heart finds its greatest joy in life's small moments. Sunlight sliding over wide, plank floors...crisp, curled leaves blown in by the wind...the ever-changing colour of clouds...these are the things that catch my eye and give me pause. I invite you to share these moments with me...to celebrate this day and cherish the things that make it unique. Be still for a while....halt the relentless chatter and movement that drive our daily lives. In that stillness...in the respite of silence, I believe you'll discover much about your world...and yourself.
