~ Intruder ~

~ Intruder ~

I am weary
of disease
comes and takes
and takes
and never gives

unwelcome visitor
intruder into the
sacredness of life

sometimes a thief
a tangler of time
disguise as you will
evil is black and chill

ooze down
the spiral stairway
a dark abyss awaits
deep calls to deep
banished of light

Leave to us
a singular bright
star of hope
we will survive
